3 little poems

Why do I have to be
your mother, sister or daughter
to qualify as a person?

The moon looked at
through trees
is not the same as
the moon looked at
through wires

Version 1:
It's been three days
I still sleep
where we made love

Version 2:
Been three days
since
you've been gone
I lie upon the
sheets
we made love on

Version 3:
Three days
you are gone
I lie here
all alone
in the bed we
made love on

i find the last unmade bed most intriguing. you know why? 'cause it is tellin me something that i cannot most definitely see, but most definitely understand.
