दिनों महीनों सालों साल
पेड़ खड़े रहते हैं कैसे
एक जगह बस
पैर नहीं थकते क्या उनके
नहीं सोचते, जडें निकालें
साथ रगड़ कर मिट्टी झाडें
निकल पड़ें फ़िर


How do the trees
stay in one place

Don't their feet get restless
Do they ever dream of
Taking out their roots
Rubbing them together
To brush the mud off
To up and leave
